My dream job would be to work at the propaganda agency for any of the competing dystopias ahead of us. Why? Because our perception is shaped by the stories we tell each other. And influencing how people tell stories to each other is a fascinating endeavour.
Around a decade ago, that job was called “developer evangelism,” but I'd argue that's even worse than dev propaganda. Then it became “dev advocacy,” but that's pretty devious, imo.
So I just call myself a technical marketing manager, but I'm an engineer by training and practice, and I'm still close to technical orgs.
I do whatever it takes to beat the evil incumbents. Fewer resources mean more creativity, and that's where I thrive. I'm resourceful and bring a unique angle to everything I do.
At my disposal, I have a plethora of half-baked skills that my AI agents now turn into fully fledged talents.
